The newest book in the Magic Tree House series is now out.  This book, the 36th book in the series, takes place back in time in New York City during the Great Depression.

Secrets of the Alchemists Dar by Michael Stadther. 

Michael Stadther wrote A Treasure Trove last year, which told the story about hidden treasures and the author really hid valuable treasures throughout the United States.  With this book, he hid jewels worth $2 million!

The latest Artemis Fowl book is set to be released on September 15, 2006.

Fairest by Gail Carson Levine

Gail Carson Levine's newest book and another great story-- an evil queen, a gifted main character, and lots of deception! I'll make sure to put up a full review soon but this is another great book by a great author!

This book is another sequel to the Wee Free Men and A Hat Full of Sky, very fun and funny books about a girl named Tiffany and some very mischievous mini men.  We'll do a full review soon but this book was great -- just make sure you read The Wee Free men first!

Eats, Shoots & Leaves by Lynne Truss

Lynee Truss wrote a book for adults with the same name last year.  It was a surprisingly popular book about grammar (really bad grammar!).  This new book is meant for kids and shows really funny changes in meaning for sentences when the comma is in the wrong place.

Peter and the Shadow Thieves by Dave Barry and Ridley Pierson

Ulysses Moore:  The Long Lost Map by Ulysses Moore

I loved the first Ulysses Moore book, The Door to Time.  This new book just came out and it is just as good as the first.

Measle and the Mallockee by Ian Ogilvy

This book is the third book, following Measle and the Wrathmonk and Measle and the Dragodon.  I haven't read it yet but I am looking forward to it!

The Dragon of Never-Was by Ann Downer

This book is the follow up to Hatching Magic. 

Another Nasty Book: The Curse of the Tweeties by Barry Yourgrau

The first The Nasty Book was so strange!  The stories were all really weird and really dark but also really funny.  I hope this book is the same!
